Attending the Festival alongside award winning photographer, William Chua, was an inspiring and transformative experience. His passion and unique perspective turned every moment into an extraordinary and captivating encounter.

It was a privilege to witness such mastery and creativity firsthand, making this workshop an unforgettable and enriching experience for both me and my wife. Most importantly, he is abundantly generous in sharing his expertise and artistic approach in photography.

The workshop was indeed enjoyable, educational and inspiring. Thank you William

A 5-starred journey that brings back memories of stunning Mongolian landscapes, nomadic lifestyles, ancient tradition and culture. Well-tailored for both photographers and non-photographers , the trip was free and easy, exciting with new perspectives and experiences.

Led by William Chua, a many awards winning photographer , his slogan of “shoot with the heart”, not with the eye” has inspired me to raise my  photography skills to a different level.

Thanks to William for organizing and leading this trip and his selfless gesture in  sharing experience  in photography. Last not forgetting the awesome teammates in this trip who brought much laughter, fun and enjoyment to this trip.

This is not the first time I join a photography workshop conducted by William. Each time he leaves me in awe.

Having beautiful scenaries and rare opportunities of photographing fast flying eaglesin flight is one thing. But having someone like William to guide and provide simple to follow tips is beyond great.

A simple example is, “Landscape shots are not always about shooting with wide angle lenses.” That sentence opened a whole new world for me.

I’ve learned alot from his workshop and looking forward to more to come.
A huge thanks to William for another unforgetable photography workshop

Encounter with eagle hunters, Cultural Experiences

Hunting with eagles is very much an ancient tradition of the Central Asian nomadic tribes that is still kept alive in Western Mongolia today. Mongolian Kazakhs train eagles for hunting and some well trained and skilled eagles are believed to be capable of catching wolves. Nowadays, eagle hunters live in the spectacular Altai Mountain ranges, which rise up to 4,374m above sea level. Like other Mongols they are nomadic and spend the summer alongside the beautiful mountain lakes across the range. The hospitable Kazakh eagle hunter families will also offer unique experiences to likeminded travellers.
