A photography workshop customized by international Award Winning photographer, and Fujifilm-X Photographer, William Chua for photographers.
William will guide the participants along for photography and there will also be critic session to help participants improve on their photos. A briefing will be done prior to the trip.
Non Photography companions are welcomed too.
Thousands of Siberian Swans fly to Weihai every winter from November to March.
Participants will have lots of opportunities to practice and take pictures of swans and seagulls in different settings.
Besides that, Weihai also has amazing views to offer to photographers..

02/01/2027 Day 1: Arrival – Yantai – Weihai (L ,D)
2355 hrs Depart Singapore Changi Airport for Yantai Airport
0935 hrs Reached Yangtai and Pick up to Weihai Hotel
After check in , prepare for lunch and have a good rest
Proceed to HaoYunJIao for swans during late afternoon to Sunset
After that proceed to Dinner.
03/01/2027 Day 2: (B,L,D)
Sunrise with Swans at HongHuWan and YanDunjiao
Have lunch then have a rest in the afternoon or we can review the
photos to see what you can do better for the next round of photos
Then proceed to see the sunken Blueways Ship in Weihai
Beautiful location for sunset and seagulls
After that, proceed for Dinner
04/01/2027 Day 3: (B,L,D)
Sunrise with swans at HongHuWan and YanDunJiao to get the shots that you did not managed to get
the previous day
Have lunch and check out
Move to another hotel.
Visit Haiyuan Park
After that proceed for Dinner
05/01/2027 Day 4 (B,L,D)
Go to morning Market
Photos around 8th Torch Street and along the beach
Have lunch, and rest
Sunset at XiaoShiDao
After that proceed for dinner
06/01/2027 Day 6: Depart for home
reached Singapore 06/01/2027 2155 hrs
Participants have to be prepared for lots of early mornings for the beautiful sunrises.. but there will be enough rest time as well..so no worries..
No strenuous walking also..
The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, unforeseen circumstances and/or acts of God. Order and timings of the itinerary will be switched around and/or modified according to tides, weather and prevailing sunrise/sunset timings of the location to present the best shooting conditions possible on location.

William Chua is an international award winning photographer based in Singapore. He does predominantly weddings, travel, landscapes, and wildlife photography
He has garnered awards from IPA (New York), MPA (London), PX3 (Paris), PDN, Sony World Awards, Epson Pano Awards and the Oneeyeland Awards
He was awarded by Epson as the Southeast Asia Open Photography of the year ( 2025) and was also the World’s top 10 Travel Photographer 2022 by Oneeyeland. His Image of the wildebeests in Kenya was also selected as the top 45 images around the world in 2025
He had a joint photo exhibition in Singapore in 2022 to raise awareness for the Breast Cancer Foundation
His photo of the wildebeest migration was exhibited in Photokina 2018 (Cologne, Germany).
He also has his solo exhibition of his wildlife images in Raffles Hotel Singapore in 2011.
As a Fujifilm ambassador for more than 10 years, he has been working with Fujifilm Singapore and Fujifilm HQ in Japan to create many videos for the launch of their new equipment. Most notably for the launch of Fujifilm XT4, where he is one of the 4 photographers selected globally to endorse the camera.
He is also a speaker in Fujikina in New York in 2022.
William’s works have been published in various publications (including Silverkris Magazine, Drukair Magazine, Asia Geographic, Geographical Magazine (UK) etc) and is a joint author for ‘Your guide to Great Photography’ alongside other global photographers.
His images have been consistently places with the Natgeo Editor’s favorites through the years. And they are represented by Modern Art Etc based in Los Angeles, California for sale as Find Art Prints.
Having led photography workshops globally, and given numerous talks on photography, he hopes to be able to help photo enthusiasts take their photography to the next level.
