I thought this is pretty good.. cos Bhutan has got good education for the kids, and<br>\nthe last we should do is to encourage this kind of negative culture there.. <\/p>\n<p>However, on the visit to one of the Dzong, we saw a group of foreigners (wif big video cameras, and DSLR)<br>\ngetting a little monk to walk to and fro inside the Dzong (sort of to pose for the cameras) , and finally giving him some<br>\nmoney after that for his efforts..<\/p>\n<p>I was disappointed by this group of foreigners. I am sure they would have been advised not to do<br>\nsuch acts.. But they did it just to get their shots. I think as travellers and photographers, we should learn to respect<br>\nthe country that we are visiting. Such acts may work in certain countries, but not for some other places.<\/p>\n<p>I would urge fellow travellers not to condone such activities when they visit Bhutan, and also learn to respect<br>\nother people\u2019s culture.. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In general, travellers to Bhutan are advised to not give candy, gum, pens, balloons, money etc to children, who soon learn to demand gifts.
